Lume Vone (2015) is part of a series of pieces that mix unsystematic notation (undefined extensions of conventional notation) in a framework of simple forms and varying repetition. The performers themselves determine the meaning of the notation, maintaining a flexible ensemble dynamic that adapts as it goes. This piece presents two groups of two modulating harmonic fields with superimposed lyrical figures separated by a section of shattered, complex gestures.
